The questions people ask right after their first ×10 pull.

Is Repo Gacha free?

Yes. Every pull is free. There are no paid packs, no premium currency and nothing to unlock with money. You get 30 free pulls a day.

When do my free pulls reset?

At midnight in your own time zone. The counter in the top corner shows how many pulls you have left today.

How do the rates and pity work?

UR 2%, SSR 5%, SR 13%, R 30%, N 50%. If nine pulls in a row come up below SR, the tenth is guaranteed to be SR or better. The How to Play page has the details.

Do you store my GitHub account?

No. There are no accounts at all, and we never ask for your GitHub login. Your collection and daily pulls are stored only in your browser's local storage.

Will I lose my collection?

Your collection lives in this browser on this device. If you clear the site's data or switch browsers, you start fresh. There is no cloud save yet.

Can I share cards?

Yes. Every card has a share link (?c=…) that opens that exact card, and a button to download it as a PNG. Battles have replay and challenge links too.

What is a Stack?

Your team for battles: up to five cards with a total cost of 12 or less. Slot 1 is PROD and takes every hit; the rest wait in line. Combos switch on when the right attributes meet.

How do challenge links work?

After a battle, copy the challenge link and send it to a friend. They fight your Stack with theirs. Odd or edited links still play; the game just labels them.

Why did an old battle link give a different result?

Battle rules get balanced from time to time. Old links always replay on the current rules, with a note that the result may differ from the original fight.

When will ads appear?

Not yet. Ads are planned so the game can stay free, but none are running today. When they arrive they will never interrupt a card reveal, and the privacy page will be updated first.

What about privacy?

No accounts, no cookies today, no analytics at launch. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Read the full privacy page.

My repository is on a card. Can I get it changed or removed?

Of course. Email [email protected] with the repository URL and tell us what to fix, or that you'd like it removed. We handle it in the next pool update.

Is this an official GitHub game?

No. Repo Gacha is an independent fan project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by GitHub or any project shown on the cards.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. The game is built mobile-first and runs in any modern browser. There is nothing to install.

Why is my favourite framework only SR?

Rarity follows fame, measured in GitHub stars, not quality. Lots of excellent projects are SR, and some of the funniest cards in the game are N. You can still build a winning Stack around them.
